Five Emerging Players to Watch out for in the World Cup
World Cup is only a month away and all the nations have announced their best possible 16 member squad for the mega event. Apart from the experienced campaigners, the teams will be relying on their new blood as well. Last two years have been very good for cricket as it has been blessed by many young players who have the tendency to become ‘the greats’ in the future.
Here we have five emerging players who you should look forward to in the mega event.
Mohammad Hasnain

The 19-year-old fast pacer from Hyderabad is no less than any bowler in the world cup. He’s proven his worth and talent in the latest addition of PSL where he was no less than a nightmare of batsmen. He dominated T20 league, a league which is known to be made for batsmen only. His height gives him extra pace and bounce and he’s someone who is not afraid of using his allocated bouncers. He will definitely play a very important part in the world cup for Pakistan.
He took 12 wickets in 7 T20’s with a bowling average of 17.58. He got his first cap against Australia in Sharjah this year and have played 3 ODI’s since then in which he was able to gather only 2 wickets only. But he is much better than this.
Aiden Markram

One of the most versatile players in the world. Markram has the ability to play both a slogger and an anchor batsman for his team. 2019 has been brilliant for him as he has managed to score some important runs and make his place for the biggest stage of all.
He has played 18 ODI’s so far and have managed to score 503 runs with a strike-rate of 88.40.
Kuldeep Yadav

It took only a few months for Kuldeep Yadav to become one of the most dangerous bowlers in the world. He’s been breaking partnerships and has the ability to destroy any batting line-up in the world. He’s someone who can drop down the run-rate and can also pick up you wickets.
Yadav has played 44 ODI’s so far and have managed to bag 87 wickets with a bowling average of 21.74.
Shimron Hetmyer

Hetmyer is one of the best power-hitters in the world, he has the ability to change the whole scenario in seconds. He took a very short time to make his place in the starting eleven of West Indies, he’s highly regarded in foreign leagues and he can play a very important role for West Indies in the world cup.
He has scored 899 runs in 25 ODI’s for West Indies with a whopping average of 40.86.

Richardson has proven his worth in domestic cricket and now he’s ready to do it in international cricket as well. You know they say, ‘never underestimate an Australian fast bowler’ so he’s someone we should really look forward to.
Richardson has played 12 ODI’s for the Kangaroos so far and have managed to bag 24 wickets with a bowling average of 26.33.
