Match Review, India vs Australia 4th ODI: Turner heroics innings keeps the hope of winning the series, it’s 2-2

Indian Innings

Indian skipper won the toss and elected to the bat first. Today India have made four changed. Kl Rahul replaced off form Ambati Rayudu, Jadeja to Chahal and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar playing in Shami’s place. Mahendra Singh Dhoni rested and Rishav Pant gets a chance to show his worthy appearance, while he is also a World Cup main squad contender.

Decent start of India

India got a very good start with Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan. Shikhar was successful after 8 ODI matches while he was remaining unsuccessful. Rohit Sharma had missed a well deserved century. Rohit Sharma scored 143 runs and Rohit scored 95 runs.

After the end of the first wickets partnership, the middle order failed in carrying the rhythm. Otherwise, India may touch 400 easily. KL Rahul batted before skipper Kohli and scored 26 runs. The point is Kl Rahul got a chance to prove himself in ODI while he batted no pressure on him. Kohli departs at 7. Pant played a rapid and short worthy inning. Vijay Shanker also contributes some runs. At the end, India scored 357 runs.

Australian Innings

In reply, Australia started the innings with skipper Aaron Finch and Shaun Marsh. Unlucky Aaron Finch failed to carry his previous match rhythm and out in duck. Shaun Marsh also departs at 7 by in-form Bumrah.

After that Usman Khawaja and Peter Handsome rebuild the innings. These two players haven’t hit big shots but rotated with the single. Their partnership keeps Australia in the game. Usman Khawaja falls for well made 91 and Bumrah strikes where Kuldeep Yadav takes the catch at fine leg. Peter Handsome scored his first international century at ODI against.

Maxwell out before set, this time Kuldeep Yadav. After Ashley Turner turned the match completely in the way of Australia. What an innings it was! He is playing his 2nd ODI and playing a heroics and dream game for him. We are thinking that Maxwell will create pressure while Ashley Turner was out of syllabus question for Indian bowlers.

Ashley Turner scored 84 runs in 43 balls and it’s match-winning innings.

We are thinking that 358 runs may be heavy-duty for Australia. But the question, how Australia progress the work?

Some silly misfields helped Australia. Especially in death over Kedar Yadav catch, Shikhar Dhawan also dropped a simple catch of Turner. Rishabh Pant misses a clear stump.

Although Ashley Turner man of the march.
