India completely outplayed Australia in all facets of the game in the third game of series played at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Virat Kohli and co. put in a disciplined performance to take 2-1 lead in the four-match Test series. It was certainly a historical occasion for India as they won a game in MCG after 37 years. India have a great chance to win their first series in Australia.
Skipper Tim Paine had no answers to what happened in the Boxing Day Test and would be hoping that his side turns up for the final game of the series to be played at Sydney Cricket Ground on Thursday.

AUS vs IND 4th Test Team News
Aaron Finch might be dropped from the side after a string of poor scores. Usman Khuwaja might open the innings with Marcus Harris for this game. Finch might be replaced by Marnus Labuschagne, who played a couple of games for Australia in the UAE.
The responsibility will be on the likes of Usman Khuwaja, Shaun Marsh and Mitchell Marsh to score runs for Australia and help the level the four-match series in Sydney. Marsh has looked good at the crease and certainly needs to get a big score in this final game of series.
In the bowling department, Mitchell Starc has not been at his best. He has lacked potency with the new-ball and has been completely outperformed by Indian counterparts in Jaspreet Bumrah and Mohammad Shami. Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon have bowled well for Australia in this series.
Mayank Agarwal had a great outing with the bat in his debut game for India. He scored a fabulous half-century to help India post a big total in their innings. Makeshift opener Hanuma Vihari has done admirable job in Melbourne against a quality pace attack.
Virat Kohli has looked a little jaded in this series due to non-stop cricket. He has scored 259 runs in 3 matches at an average of 43.16. Clearly, India’s Cheteshwar Pujara has proven to be bankable performer on the tour with 328 runs in 3 matches at an average of 54.66. He has scored important centuries for India in Adelaide and Melbourne.
Jaspreet Bumrah, Mohammad Shami and Ishant Sharma have been excellent in the series so far. Ravendra Jadeja also picked up crucial wickets for India in Melbourne.
