The fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League is to begin from February next year. The recent PSL Player’s draft auction certainly grabbed the headlines as superstars like AB De Villiers and Steven Smith were picked by their respective franchises. The joining of de Villiers will be a big boost for the coming season of Pakistan Super League 2019.

Former Australian Captain, who is currently serving his ban due to spot-fixing allegations, was bought by the sixth franchise.

AB De Villiers

The former South African batsman will be keen to make an impression in his first season of Pakistan Super League. AB De Villiers has been excellent in Indian Premier League for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Steven Smith

Former Australian skipper Steven Smith will also make his debut in this year’s Pakistan Super League. Ian Bell

Former England batsman was picked up by Islamabad United during this year’s PSL Players draft. Bell has done well in the T20 format in the domestic cricket in England. Certainly, he will certainly be keen to make a crucial role at the top of the innings for defending champions Islamabad United.
