Hosts Bangladesh will need a better effort with the bat and ball when they face West Indies in the second T20I game of the series. West Indies produced a comprehensive win in the first game played in Sylhet. Sheldon Cottrell and Shai Hope played leading roles to help West Indies take 1-0 lead in three-match T20I series.
The second will be played at Shere Bangla Cricket Stadium, Mirpur on Thursday.

The batting lineup failed to deliver the goods in the opening game of the series. Openers Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das perished for low scores. Iqbal will need to produce runs and get the side off to a good start in this game. Soumya Sarkar could not replicate his heroics from the one-day series and also departed after scoring just 5 runs.
Wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim has been Bangladesh premier across all three formats this year. Rahim will need to do something special with the bat to help Bangladesh achieve parity in the T20I series.
Shakib Al Hasan played well and was a standout batsman for the side in the previous game. Mahmudullah and Ariful Haque will need to put runs with the bat.
Left-arm quick Mustafizur Rahman has been leading wicket-taker for Bangladesh so far this year in the 20-over format. Abu Hider and Mohammad Saifuddin did not get any success with the ball in the previous. Off-spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraaz was expensive in the opening game of the series and will need to make amends in this game.
Evin Lewis made his return in the T20 setup for West Indies in the opening game played in Sylhet. Left-handed batsman will be eyeing a big score in this game. He averages 32.17 with the bat and has smashed two centuries at the international level.
Wicket-keeper batsman Shai Hope once again produced a well-timed half-century to steer his side to a comfortable win. Hope scored 55 off 23 balls with the help of three fours and six sixes.
Nicholas Pooran and Kemo Paul produced unbeaten 32-run partnership to see West Indies complete the chase in 10th over of the innings. Shimron Hetymer and Darren Bravo did not get a chance to bat in the middle.
For West Indies, left-arm quick Sheldon Cottrell was pick of the bowlers with four wickets to his name. Oshane Thomas and Kemo Paul bowled well in the first game of the series. Captain Carlos Brathwaite will be looking to win the series in Mirpur.
