Kuldeep Yadav, Rohit Sharma move up in the ICC T20 Rankings

Left-arm Chinaman Kuldeep Yadav has gained places according to the latest ICC T20 Rankings for bowlers. The spinner moved up to 23rd position in the table after taking a lot of wickets in the recent three-match T20I series played against West Indies at home. He was named man of the series in the home T20I series played against West Indies and picked up five wickets to see India complete a whitewash over the visitors.

Kuldeep has produced phenomenal numbers with the ball for India in shorter formats of the game. He has been India premier bowler in the limited-overs cricket in recent times and has been instrumental in India winning more one-day games away from home.

Stand-in captain Rohit Sharma moved to the seventh position in the Latest ICC T20 Rankings for Batsmen. He also became the first player to score four centuries in the T20 format. The left-handed batsman put in the match-winning effort with the bat in the third and final game of the T20 series played at Chennai. Dhawan also gained positions and is now at 16th in the table.

India have earned three points after their whitewash over West Indies in three-match T20 series. They have 127 points to their name according to the latest ICC T20 Team rankings. Pakistan continues to rule the roost in the T20 format after completing a clean sweep over Australia and New Zealand. Sarfaraz and co. have extended their lead at the top and have 138 points in the ICC T20 Team Rankings.

All-rounder Muhammad Hafeez produced a string of good performances against Australia and New Zealand. Hafeez has moved to 53rd position according to ICC T20 Rankings for Batsmen.

India is set to make a trip to Australia as the start would begin with three-match T20I series. Virat Kohli and co. will be looking to bring their A-game to the table and continue their good form in Australia as well.
