Australia keen to salvage pride in the dead-rubber contest at Dubai
Australia will be keen to play for pride when they take on Pakistan in the third and final game of the one-day series. The game will be scheduled to be played at Dubai international Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Aaron Finch would be keen to end the tour on a positive note after losing the T20I series to Pakistan. The visitors batting has been a big letdown as players like Chris Lynn, D’Arcy Short and Captain Aaron Finch failed to produce scores in the series. The second game between Australia and Pakistan was a close one as Glenn Maxwell fought hard till the end. Nathan Coulter-Nile and Billy Stanlake have been splendid in the two games played against Pakistan.

On the other hand, Pakistan produced clinical performances in the two games played to clinch the series. Pakistan went onto clinch their straight T20I series win under Sarfaraz Ahmed’s captaincy. Sarfaraz and co. will aim for a clean sweep against Australia to continue their winning momentum ahead of New Zealand series.
Babar Azam and Mohammad Hafeez have been superb with the bat in the two games played so far in the series. Fakhar Zaman would be keen to get a big score after missing out in the first two games against Australia. Hussain Talat might come in place of Asif Ali, who has not done much with the bat in this series.
In the bowling department, Imad Wasim has been sensational with the ball after making his return to the side. Shadab Khan and Faheem Ashraf have also picked up crucial wickets against Australia in this series.
